Therefore, the air compressor should choose the appropriate lubricating oil according to different seasons (mainly summer and winter), that is, according to different temperatures. There are three types of viscosity grades commonly used for screw air compressor oil: 32, 46, and 68.
For piston air compressors, the cylinder-filling part uses No. 19 air compressor oil in summer and No. 18 air compressor oil in winter; the crankshaft-connecting rod part can use No. 50 mechanical oil in summer, and No. 30 and No. 40 mechanical oil in winter. This will allow the air compressor to be better lubricated. Generally, single-acting small air compressors use No. 19 air compressor oil in summer and No. 13 air compressor oil in winter.
Due to lack of experience, some users often use the method of replacing the lubricating oil after the failure occurs. As a result, the air compressor whose lubricating oil has been replaced will fail again after a week or two of normal operation. Such frequent replacement has brought a great burden to the production cost.
When replacing the lubricating oil, in order to ensure the effect, you can start the air compressor and run it for one hour. The purpose of this is to restore the lubricating oil to the normal temperature, and make a simple operation for the entire air compressor system (especially the lubricating oil system). Complete and comprehensive cleaning, so adding new lubricating oil again can prolong its life and significantly improve the performance of the entire compression system.
The maintenance and operation of the engineering air compressor for outdoor use in winter cannot be ignored. Due to the low ambient temperature, the construction machinery air compressor is difficult to start. Under low temperature conditions, in order to ensure that all kinds of construction machinery can be put into use safely in cold conditions, daily maintenance should be done well, and a low temperature auxiliary starting system should be installed.
Several common low temperature starting methods: (1) Use diesel air compressor oil with good low temperature performance. This kind of air compressor oil has low low temperature viscosity, good lubrication between friction pairs, and low starting resistance, which is conducive to starting. ; (2) Use a battery with good low temperature performance, and if necessary, the battery can be insulated to ensure that it can be charged normally and has sufficient output current under low temperature conditions, thereby increasing the power of the starting system; (3) The flame is preheated to start; ( 4) Add cold starting fluid; (5) Circulating water heating system (also known as fuel heater heating system); in addition to the above preheating methods, hot water preheating method, steam preheating method and electric preheating method can also be used and other methods for low temperature start-up.
